Story Behind Dolores Park Cafe
Dolores Park Café is your neighborhood cafe. We have been an integral part of the community since our founding in 1997.
At Dolores Park Café we believe in giving locally and our goal is to create community in an urban setting by providing a fun and welcoming aesthetic coupled with an extensive organic menu and deliciously fresh food. Regular events include happy hour daily, rotating monthly exhibits by local artist, and live music every Friday night.
The Café was designed from the ground up by local architect Scott Ellsworth. The feel is an extension of beautiful Dolores Park. Featuring high ceilings, lots of windows, a large eat-in counter, and expansive outdoor seating in one of the warmest San Francisco micro-climates.
We are committed to working with local, family owned businesses that share our commitment to the community and a sustainable lifestyle. All of our chicken, ham, bacon and beef is responsibly farmed. The eggs we use are cage free. Our organic fair trade coffee comes from a small local roaster and we use organic produce whenever possible.
Opening Duboce Park Cafe
In 2006 we expanded our operation and opened Duboce Park Café where we continue to build community, contribute locally and inspire folks in the Duboce Triangle neighborhood by serving great music and art with an organic menu and a view of Duboce Park.
